Swell is an indie band formed in 1989 in San Francisco .
Band history
After recruiting a second guitarist, John Dettman, and bassist Monte Vallier , the band recorded a self-titled album and released it on their own label Psycho-Specific in April 1990. David Freel has released an album under the name Be my Weapon in recent years . According to his own statements, he is considering whether an album will be released under the name Swell.
style
Swell's influences range from neo- psychedelic to noise pop to Ennio Morricone .
