FK Zvezda Irkutsk ( Russian Звезда Иркутск , wiss. Transliteration Zvezda Irkutsk ) was a Russian football club from the city of Irkutsk . The club last played in the 1st division in 2007 and 2008 , but was excluded from the Association of Russian Professional Football in November 2008 due to outstanding salary payments.

The club Zvezda Irkutsk, founded in 1957, rose to the 1st division in 2006 by taking first place in the Eastern group of the 2nd division . The club previously played for five seasons between 1992 and 1996 in the 1st division with fourth place in 1995 as the best result.
Zvezda Irkutsk played its home games in the 18,500-seat Trud Stadium.
