The Swiss German University (SGU) is a private university in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD City), Indonesia . It was founded in 2000 with the help of a German bank from Baden-Württemberg . Around 1,000 students are now studying; the graduates receive a double degree from the SGU and the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences .

organization

The management is incumbent on a rectorate , which includes two vice rectors in addition to the rector, and which is responsible for the supervisory board led by an Indonesian entrepreneur and his son . The university is divided into three faculties that correspond to the study program.

courses

All courses are completed with a Bachelor after eight semesters . It is taught exclusively in English and every student must choose German as the second language. Two practical semesters are included in all courses. The student spends the first practical phase in a company in Indonesia, while the second phase is completed abroad.

There is the possibility of doing a master’s program at the SGU in the following areas:
