In 1998 the cooperation with BZ Informatik (now Avaloq Evolution AG) began as an implementation partner . The international expansion took place in 1999 with the establishment of a subsidiary in Austria.

The company became the property of their management in 2001 through a management buy-out . As a result, Comit grew (since June 1, 2011) through the establishment of further subsidiaries in Germany and abroad (2001 Germany, 2006 Singapore, 2008 Luxembourg) and various acquisitions .
