Sydney Bailey

Sydney Frederick Bailey (* 1886 ; † unknown) was a British cyclist .

At the 1908 Olympic Games in London , Sydney Bailey finished eighth in the 100-kilometer race behind motorized pacemakers on the track , after still leading halfway through the race. Two years later, at the UCI Track World Championships in Brussels in 1910 , he came third in the amateurs' standing race .

Sydney Bailey was a brother of William Bailey , who was four times world champion in the sprint of the amateur.
