geography

The wasteland lies on the Sulzach . Immediately south of the village, the Jägersbrünnlein flows into the Sulzach on the right. In the south lies the Hart forest area. A community connecting road leads to Krapfenau to the district road AN 41 (0.3 km east) or to the Hammerschmiede (0.2 km west).

history

The Krapfenauer Mühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The mill originally belonged to Krapfenau and had the hospital of the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl as the landlord . Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Krapfenauer Mühle was run as a separate place with a house number when assigning house numbers. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century), the Krapfenauer Mühle was assigned to the Heilbronn tax district and the Krapfenau rural community . Two plots of pasture land with a total of 3 ha belonged to the property  . One parcel is 0.6 km west of the building. After 1888, the Krapfenauer Mühle was no longer listed as a district in the official directories. In the local database of the Bayerische Landesbibliothek Online it is again listed as an officially named district with the community code number 571145. In the course of the regional reform , the Krapfenauer Mühle was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on July 1, 1971.
