Zischendorf is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is on the left bank of the Wörnitz in a flat hilly plain consisting of grassland and arable land. The area west of the place is called Bräuningsfeld, the area in the northeast is Bräuningsfeld. Approx. 0.5 km south-east is the Schloßberg ( 520  m above sea level ), which is an elevation of the Sulzachrandhöhen, a section of the Frankenhöhe .

A community connecting road leads to Ratzendorf (0.9 km north) or to Waldhausen to the district road AN 4 (1.2 km north-west). Further communal roads lead to Zumhaus (0.9 km south) and Breitenau (1.2 km south) each to the AN 36 .

history

Zischendorf was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 7 properties and 1 shepherd's house. The village and community rulership was held by the Sulz monastery administrator . The landlords were the Sulz monastery administrator (2 courtyards, 1 third courtyard with commercial law, 2 third courtyards), the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (1 estate) and the imperial city of Rothenburg (1 estate). From 1797 to 1808 the place belonged to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . The number of properties remained unchanged.

With the community edict (early 19th century), Zischendorf was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Breitenau . In the course of the regional reform , Zischendorf was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
