history

Bergnerzell was created and administered by the Feuchtwangen Monastery , like the other zell- ending places ( Aichenzell , Leiperzell , Rammerzell and Seiderzell ) . Since the monastery was converted into a secular canon monastery in 1197, Bergnerzell must have been founded before 1197.

The place was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 there were 14 properties. The landlords were the Feuchtwangen monastery administration office (5 estates), the Sulz monastery administration office (1 yard, 2 estates), the Feuchtwangen caste office (1 yard, 1 half yard, 1 estate, 1 house; Mosbach parish: 1 estate) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl ( 1 good). By the end of the Old Kingdom nothing had changed in the circumstances. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Bergnerzell was assigned to the tax district and the rural community Mosbach . In the course of the regional reform , this was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
