Breitenau is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The parish village is located in the valley on a left tributary of the Wörnitz in the middle of the Sulzachrand Heights, which are part of the Frankenhöhe . Approx. history

Breitenau was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . Originally the lords of Geyer ( imperial counts from 1685 ) were the landlords . With their extinction in 1708 her entire estate fell by the Prussian King Frederick I . In 1729 the Kingdom of Prussia left this to Brandenburg-Ansbach .

In 1732 there were 36 properties (1 farm with business and brewing rights, 2 half farms, 7 Köblersgüter, 21 Sölden houses , 1 Sölden house with bath room, 3 Sölden houses with baking rights, 1 Sölden house with forge).
