Hans Peter Müller-Angstenberger

Hanspeter Müller-Angstenberger (* 22 July 1972 as Hanspeter Müller ) is a German volleyball trainer.

Career

Müller-Angstenberger first played football for SV Wurmlingen . In 1982 he started his volleyball career at TV Rottenburg . There he was on the field as a setter until 1998 and made it into the national league. In 2002 he coached the club's first team for the first time in the regional league. In his first season he was promoted to the second division. In 2006 the team reached the Bundesliga for the first time and returned immediately after relegation. Müller-Angstenberger became known as a very emotional trainer. He led Rottenburg into the European Cup in 2009.

Apart from sports, Müller-Angstenberger studied theology . He then worked as a teacher for Catholic religion and German at the Eugen-Bolz-Gymnasium Rottenburg . Because of his work as a trainer, he later reduced this commitment. However, the high school is closely linked to the volleyball club. Müller-Angstenberger uses his religious background in training to convey mental strength.
