Oberglasmühle is a residential area in the town of Feuchtwangen in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia , which belongs to the Hinterbreitenthann district.

geography

The Oberglasmühle is house number 8 in Hinterbreitenthann. It lies on the Krummbach , a left tributary of the Sulzach .

history

Oberglasmühle was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . The Feuchtwangen monastery administrator was the landlord of the Mahlmühle . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Oberglasmühle was assigned to the Tauberschallbach tax district and the rural community of Vorderbreitenthann . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Oberglasmühle was given the number 8 of Hinterbreitenthann when the house numbers were assigned. In the official municipality register published in 1882, Oberglasmühle was last considered as a district. Since then, the property has been part of the Hinterbreitenthann district again. This was incorporated into Feuchtwangen as part of the regional reform on January 1, 1972.
