history

From the data of the cadastre of the municipality of Krapfenau from 1834 it can be concluded that the name of the farm is derived from the family name of the owner. During the Old Kingdom , the court is said to have had the Ansbach monastery administrator of Feuchtwangen as the landlord . The property included 24  hectares of arable and pasture land and 17 hectares of forest. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Raffelshof received the number 15 of the place Wehlsmäusel when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Raffelshof was assigned to the Dentlein tax district and the Krapfenau rural community .

Raffelshof was only taken into account in the place lists based on the censuses of 1861, 1871 and 1885. In 1885 the place consisted of two residential buildings with 17 inhabitants.

As part of the regional reform , Raffelshof was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on July 1, 1971.
