Deletemühle is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies in an eastern bulge of the Feuchtwanger urban area in the area of the confluence of the Tenscherbach in the Ahornbach flowing to the east and from the right to the Wieseth . On the western edge of the property with only one house number, but half a dozen outbuildings, there is a mill pond with a size of 5 ares fed by the Ahornbach main arm  , into which a tributary of the Tenscherbach also runs, while its main arm flows a good hundred meters after the delete mill. A lower-lying branch of the Ahornbach runs past the southern edge of the village in the middle of the valley. To the north-east of the Lassenmühle, on the left slope of the valley, is the Zescherberg forest, which extends far down the stream into the neighboring town of Herrieden , and the smaller Mühlholz on the southern slope.

In terms of natural space, the area is part of the Middle Franconian Basin , in which the place stands on the valley floor that is deepened to the Gipskeuper .

A community road leads over Jakobsmühle to Unterahorn to the district road AN 52 (1.2 km west). Agricultural roads lead to Aichau (0.8 km north), to Lölldorf (1.4 km south-east) and to Leichsenhof (0.9 km south).

history

With the community edict (early 19th century), Lassenmühle was assigned to the Heilbronn tax district and the Aichau rural community . In the course of the regional reform , delete mill was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
