history
On November 16, 1334, Rabeno, Truchsess and Custodian of Feuchtwangen, gave the property in “Cehendorf” to the vicarie of Emperor Charles IV, which he had founded.
Zehdorf was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 13 properties with 14 teams and 1 shepherd's house. The landlords were the Feuchtwangen monastery administration office (1 estate), the Feuchtwangen caste office (1 grinding and cutting mill, 1 estate with two crews, 6 estates) and the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl (4 estates). From 1797 to 1808 the place belonged to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . The number of properties remained unchanged.
With the community edict (early 19th century), Zehdorf was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Aichenzell . In the course of the regional reform this was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
