Hinterbreitenthann is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village of Hinterbreitenthann lies on a plateau consisting of green areas with a few trees and arable land. To the west, the Krummbach , a left tributary of the Sulzach , forms a valley basin. There is the corresponding wasteland under glass mill . Approx. The Wolfsberg ( 513  m above sea level ) rises 0.5 km to the northwest, and the Im Schor forest area is about 0.75 km to the southwest. A community road leads to Oberdallersbach (1.5 km southwest) or to state road 1066 (0.5 km northeast). Another community road leads to Vorderbreitenthann to St 1066 (0.8 km southeast).

Hinterbreitenthann was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of 13 properties and 1 communal shepherd's house. Were landlords

There was also a communal shepherd's house. Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Hinterbreitenthann was assigned to the tax district of Dorfgütingen and the rural community of Vorderbreitenthann . In the course of the regional reform , Hinterbreitenthann was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
