Rammerzell

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rammerzell is a desert in the municipality of Feuchtwangen ( Ansbach district , Middle Franconia ).

geography

The wasteland was by the Lohweiher. In a cadastre from the 19th century, a building with the house number 188 12 of the place Feuchtwangen is recorded.

history

Like all other -zell locations ( Aichenzell , Bergnerzell , Leiperzell , Seiderzell ), Rammerzell was laid out by Feuchtwangen Monastery and administered by it. Since it was converted into a secular canon monastery in 1197, Rammerzell must have been founded before 1197.

Rammerzell was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . Towards the end of the 18th century there were two properties, both of which had the Feuchtwangen monastery administration office as landlords . But it was already uninhabited at that time.
