Rödenweiler is a district of the town of Feuchtwangen in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is on the Rödenweiler Mühlbach , a right tributary of the Sulzach , and on the Weggraben, which flows into the Rödenweiler Mühlbach as a right tributary in the village. The place is located in the middle of a flat hilly plain, which consists of grassland with individual trees and arable land. In the south the corridor area is called Sulzfeld and in the west Hirtenfeld.

Municipal roads lead to Heilbronn (0.2 km north), crossing the district road AN 36 to Dornberg (0.9 km southeast) and to another municipal road (1.3 km west) that leads to Archshofen to AN 36 (1 km south) or past the Auhof to Dombühl (1.8 km north).

history

Rödenweiler was in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . In 1732 the place consisted of seven properties and a shepherd's house belonging to the municipality. The landlords were the Stiftsverwalteramt Feuchtwangen (one yard, a half yard, a Gütlein), the monastery administrator's office Sulz (one yard, two half yards) and the Kastenamt Feuchtwangen (one yard ). Nothing in these conditions changed until the end of the Old Kingdom . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen .

With the community edict (early 19th century) Rödenweiler was assigned to the tax district and the rural community of Dorfgütingen . As part of the regional reform , Rödenweiler was incorporated into Feuchtwangen on January 1, 1972.
