Sylke Tannhauser

Sylke Tannhäuser (born March 6, 1964 in Leipzig ) is a German writer . She has been a writer since 2006 and runs a school of creative writing. Her specialty are crime novels.

Life

Having grown up in Leipzig and Zittau, she studied business administration and administration after graduating from high school. She has u. a. worked as a shoe seller and warehouse clerk and has been employed in the public service at the Leipzig City Council since the 1990s. Tannhäuser has lived on the outskirts of Leipzig since the early 1980s. She is married and has two daughters. She belongs to the authors' group of German-language crime literature Das Syndikat and the network of German-language crime writers Murderous Sisters .
