Sylvia Lance Harper (born October 1895 in Australia as Sylvia Lance , † after 1951) was an Australian tennis player .

In 1924 Sylvia Lance Harper won the Australian tennis championships against her compatriot Esna Boyd 6: 3, 3: 6 and 8: 6. In 1927 there was a new edition of the final match of 1924. She lost this game. In 1930 Lance Harper's opponent was Daphne Akhurst , who won the game with 10: 8, 2: 6 and 7: 5. In the years 1923 to 1925 Lance Harper also won the doubles competition and was in the finals in 1927, 1929 and 1930. She won the mixed doubles of the Australian Tennis Championships in 1923 with Horace Rice against Margaret Molesworth and Bert St. John 2: 6, 6: 4 and 6: 4. In 1925 she was defeated by Daphne Akhurst Cozens and John Willard 6: 4 and 6: 4; her partner was Bob Schlesinger .

On May 28, 1924, she married Robert Rainy Harper.
