Sylvia Rzepka

Sylvia Rzepka (* 1976 in Starnberg , Bavaria ) is a German western rider .

She is the most successful woman in European reining and cutting , and the only rider who has ever won the German Reining Futurity.

Career

Rzepka began to ride when she was nine and took part in her first competitions when she was twelve. At 16, she went to the United States for a year.

Sylvia Rzepka is five-time European cutting champion and won the Americana Open title with record marks.

In 1998 Sylvia gave up her horse business and went to Hungary to improve her skills with her future husband Vern Sapergia . In 2001 she and her husband founded a riding company in the south of Vienna .

At the 2006 World Championships in Aachen , she achieved 8th place in singles on Golden Mc Jack and 4th place with the team. At the 2010 World Championships in Lexington (Kentucky) , she again finished 8th in singles with Doctor Zip Nic and 6th with the team.
