Sylvia Wieland (* 1963 in Ravensburg ) is a German opera singer ( soprano ) and actress.

Life

Sylvia Wieland grew up in Ravensburg. From 1985 to 1990 she completed her vocal studies at the University of Music in Munich . A further education and master class studies followed. In the course of her further training, she took part in the master class of the Munich Singing School with the chamber singer Astrid Varnay in 1992 . Via the theater stations in Passau and Altenburg / Gera , she came to the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater in Flensburg in 1998 , mainly as an opera singer and operetta diva.

At the Landestheater in Flensburg she could be seen in many roles: in the operetta as Countess Mariza , as Merry Widow , Csárdásfürstin , Rößlwirtin and Giuditta , in the opera as Countess in Figaro's wedding , Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte , Duchess in Busoni's Doctor Faust and foreign princess in Rusalka .

In addition to her work at the theater, Sylvia Wieland is also out and about with her own plays. At the municipal music school in Flensburg she leads the singing group for adults and "Singing is fun" for children from 6 years. In 2019 her solo evening 1001 erotic nights, a fairy tale evening only for adults, premiered in the NDB Flensburg. She appears with the salon quintet “Flensburger Sahneschnittchen” with a sound film hit program.
