Sylvie Plaisant

Sylvie Plaisant (born June 29, 1972 ) is a French table tennis player . She has been one of the best players in France since the 1990s. She has won the French championship thirteen times so far.

National successes

Plaisant plays for the Kremlin-Bicêtre US club. She was French individual champion in 1995 and 1997 . In doubles she won ten titles, from 1993 to 1998 with Emmanuelle Coubat , 2000 and 2001 with Anne-Claire Palut, in 2003 with Elisabeth Gladieux and in 2007 with Carole Grundisch . In 2004 there was also a mixed title with Cedric Mirault.

International success

From 1993 to 1999 Plaisant was nominated four times for world championships . At the European Championships she reached the semi-finals in doubles with Anne Boileau in 1994 .
