Emmanuelle Coubat
Emmanuelle Coubat (born April 1, 1970 in Besançon ) is a French table tennis player . In the 1990s she was one of the best players in France. She won the French championship fifteen times.
National successes
Coubat was four times French champion in singles, namely in 1988, 1992, 1993 and 1996. In doubles, she won six titles, 1990 with Rozenn Yquel and 1993 to 1998 each with Sylvie Plaisant . There are also four mixed titles with Olivier Marmurek (1991, 1993–1995).
International success
Coubat's first international success was winning the mixed title with Olivier Marmurek at the European Youth Championship in 1987. From 1989 to 1995 she was nominated four times for world championships . In 1991 she reached third place with the French women's team. At the European Championships in 1994, she reached the semi-finals in doubles with Wang Xiaoming . In 1992 and 1996 , she took part in the double competitions at the Olympic Games, where she failed in the first round.
