Synagogue (Divišov)

The synagogue in Divišov (German Diwischau ), a Czech town in Okres Benešov in the Central Bohemian Region , was built between 1854 and 1856. The synagogue on Sternbergerstrasse is a protected cultural monument .
The late Classicist building, the restoration of which was completed with funds from the European Union in autumn 2004, is now a museum that documents the Jewish history in the region.
