Synagogue (Kleineibstadt)
The synagogue in Kleineibstadt , a district of the Großeibstadt community in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld ( Bavaria ), was built in 1827. The profaned synagogue with the address An der Barget is a protected architectural monument .
The single-storey solid building with a gable roof was cleared and sold in May 1937. The synagogue building was then used as a warehouse for coal and chemical fertilizers and was later sold to a private individual.
The former synagogue building is now showing considerable structural damage. Many parts of the building are still in their original state: the floor, the women's gallery and the entrance door. Parts of the starry sky can still be seen on the ceiling.
