Synagogue (Uzhhorod)

The synagogue in Uzhhorod , today's capital of the Zakarpattia Oblast in Ukraine , was built between 1904 and 1910. The derelict synagogue is a protected cultural monument . It is located in the city center on the north bank of the Usch .

The historicist synagogue was built according to the plans of the architects Gyula Papp and Ferenc Szabolcs . The building is now used as a philharmonic hall.
