Aleksandras Machtas
Aleksandras Ziselis Machtas ( Alexander Zisel Macht , Sasha Maht ; born October 6, 1892 in Kaunas , † January 14, 1973 in Tel Aviv ) was a Lithuanian chess player and banker .
Life
During the First World War , the power family left Kaunas and lived in eastern Ukraine . From 1921 she came back to Lithuania . Macht studied economics in Brussels . After graduating, he worked in the Jewish Central Bank. He later became a bank administrator. Machtas was seven times Lithuanian individual chess champion and took part with the Lithuanian team in the Chess Olympiads in 1930 and 1935 .
Power was married. In 1936 he emigrated to Palestine with his wife Ester Ente and their children and lived in Tel Aviv.
