Pinsdorf parish church
The Roman Catholic parish church Pinsdorf is located in the municipality Pinsdorf in the district of Gmunden in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to the evangelist Matthew and belongs to the Deanery Gmunden in the Diocese of Linz . The building is a listed building .

The parish church is in the center of the village on Moosweg in Pinsdorf.
history
In 1270 a church in Pinsdorf was first mentioned in a document. The church was built in 1494 at the latest, probably in 1457. In 1892 it was rebuilt. A parsonage was built together with the school in 1812. In 1968, under Pastor Loidl, a new parsonage and parsonage, independent of the schoolhouse, was built, which was inaugurated by Bishop Franz Zauner . The interior of the church was adapted to the liturgical changes made by the Second Vatican Council in the 1970s and 1990s .

The church is a small, late Gothic building that is very similar to the churches in Gschwandt and Roitham . The west tower with pointed helmet is from more recent times.

The three-bay nave has a single nave. Above it is a ribbed vault . The two-bay choir is vaulted with net ribs and ends in the 3/8 end. The vault rests on Gothic, semicircular services .

The decor is neo-Gothic .
