The synagogue in Biebesheim am Rhein , a community in the Groß-Gerau district in Hesse , was built in 1867. The synagogue at Bahnhofstrasse 12 was inaugurated on November 22, 1867.

history

After most of the Jewish families had already left Biebesheim, the synagogue building was sold in May 1938 to a non-Jewish family who converted it into a residential building. Nevertheless, during the November pogrom in 1938, the window panes of the profaned synagogue were broken in.

The synagogue building is still used today as a residential building with a shop.
