The synagogue in Landsberg an der Warthe ( Gorzów Wielkopolski in Polish ), a town in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland , was built in 1853/54.

The synagogue in the Byzantine style was based on plans by Berlin architect Carl Tietz built (1831-1874). The synagogue in Badergasse, today's Łazienki Street, had 150 male and almost as many female places.

During the November pogrom in 1938 , the synagogue building was set on fire and destroyed. Christa Wolf describes the fire in the synagogue in her book Childhood Pattern .
