Synagogue in Ledeč nad Sázavou

The synagogue in Ledeč nad Sázavou (German Ledetsch ), a town in Okres Havlíčkův Brod in the Kraj Vysočina region in the Czech Republic , was built around 1740. The derelict synagogue has been a protected cultural monument since 1991 .

The baroque building is decorated with stucco and paintings. After a fire, the synagogue was restored in the classical style.

Cultural events take place in the former synagogue. There is also an exhibition on the history of the Jews in Ledetsch.
