The synagogue in Miskolc , a large town in the Miskolc suburb in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County in northeastern Hungary , was built between 1856 and 1863. The synagogue at 7 Kazinczy Ferenc Street is a protected cultural monument .

The historicist style synagogue was built according to plans by the architect Ludwig Förster (1797–1863). The renovated synagogue is still used today by the Jewish community in Miskolc for services . The construction consists of an iron structure, as it was used shortly afterwards by Henri Labrouste at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris for the large reading room.
