Synagogue (Vác)
The synagogue in Vác , a Hungarian town in Pest County (34 kilometers north of Budapest ), was built between 1861 and 1864. The synagogue in Eötvös-Utca is a protected cultural monument .
The historicist synagogue was built according to plans by the Italian architect Alois Cacciari and rebuilt in 1912. After the building was left to decay for a long time, it was extensively renovated from 2002 to 2008.
