Karbach synagogue (Lower Franconia)
The synagogue in Karbach , a market in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart ( Bavaria ), was established in the Stettenberger Adelshof in 1844 and rebuilt in 1903.
history
During the November pogrom in 1938 , SS men destroyed the synagogue's interior . The building was acquired by the market town of Karbach in 1951 and converted into the town hall .
In 2002 a memorial plaque was placed on the stairs of the town hall .
