Szczerba is a mountain pass on the in Poland famous mountain Giewont in the Western Tatras . It crosses the mountain at an altitude of about 1823 meters, 71 meters below the Wielki Giewont peak . The pass is not passable and can only be reached on foot. On the northern wall of the massif is the Żleb Szczerby couloir . Climbing the north face was banned after a series of accidents.
