Sze Yu
Sze Yu ( Chinese 施 羽 , born August 8, 1962 in Shanghai ) is a former Australian badminton player of Chinese origin.
Career
After Sze Yu had already started for Hong Kong in the Thomas Cup in 1984 , he emigrated to Australia. For his new home country he surprisingly won silver at the 1985 World Badminton Grand Prix . A year later there was again silver at the Commonwealth Games in singles and bronze with the Australian team. In 1988 he won the US Open . At the national championships , Yu won several titles.
In 1994 he was awarded the Conspicuous Service Award by the Australian Badminton Association. Sze Yu started an acting career after his badminton career.
