The Sankt-Ladislaus-Gymnasium zu Kőbánya ( Hungarian : Kőbányai Szent László Gimnázium , Italian : Liceo San Ladislao di Kőbánya ) is a traditional grammar school in Budapest . It is one of the best high schools in the capital of Hungary . The school was founded in Kőbánya in 1907 . The building was planned by Ödön Lechner .
The first school in Kőbánya was founded in 1904 in Tisztviselőtelep (today: district of Josefstadt ). Construction of the school began in 1914 and was completed in 1915. The school took its current name in 1921.
