The activity badge military pilot in command of the army , better known as aviators or pilot rocker is surrounded by oak leaves federal eagle with a double rocker. There are bronze, silver and gold versions. The job badge is awarded to pilots from all three branches of the armed forces .

Awarding and Levels

The job badge military pilot is awarded in level I (bronze / standard pilot) with the receipt of the military pilot's license (MFS).

Level II (Silver / Senior Pilot) is awarded after 5 years of professional use and upon reaching 1200 flight hours.

Level III (Gold / Command Pilot) is awarded after 10 years of professional use and when 1800 flight hours have been achieved.

Executions

It is awarded as a metal clasp, but it can also be found in embroidered form on the service suit, in which case only the color of the oak leaves indicates the level. On the flight suit , it can usually be found on rectangular Velcro, together with the aircraft and the name of the soldier. The color and the border of the Velcro differs from season to season.

Carrying method

Up to two job badges can be worn over the right breast pocket of the service suit , one of which is foreign. A foreign job badge is worn below the German one.
