The Tête du Lion ( French for lion head ) is a 36 m high rock massif on the Île du Lion in the Géologie archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is the highest point on the island
French scholars named it descriptively. However, the designation was officially withdrawn in 2009.
