The Turkish government or shortly Turk's cap is a decorative knot .
application
Braided from leather straps or colored laces, it is worn as a bangle. For some boy scouts it serves as a scarf knot. It is also used in platting and macramé .
It is used to mark the center position of a ship's rudder (“steering wheel”), to decorate the tiller and pillars in the ship's saloon. In the case of ships in bottles, the bottleneck is sometimes artistically sealed.
