The city of Tüwschrüülech ( Mongolian Түвшрүүлэх ) is located in the middle of Mongolia in the province (Aimag) Arkhangai . It is the seat of the administration of the district of the same name ( Sum ). The official name of the city, Tawanbulag , is not familiar to many Mongolians, as in Mongolia the name of the county seat is usually identical to the name of Sum, of which there are 331 in Mongolia.

The city is at an altitude of 1620 meters.

Facilities

As a district town, Tüwschrüülech is the seat of various authorities and several schools, the buildings of which significantly shape the cityscape. Petrol stations and shopping facilities to cover everyday needs are available. The city is connected to the asphalt road from Ulaanbaatar , the capital of Mongolia, to Tsetserleg via a dirt road.
