Từ Hoàng Thông (born June 22, 1972 in Saigon ) is a Vietnamese grandmaster in chess .
With the Vietnamese national team, he took part in ten Chess Olympiads (1990-2008). He also took part in the Asian team championships (1991-2005) six times.
In 1993 he became International Master, since 1999 he has held the title of Grand Master and since 2019 the title of FIDE Trainer.
