T-ISDN was the product name for a ISDN - telephone connection in the fixed network ( T-Net ) of Deutsche Telekom AG (DTAG) . The "T" in T-ISDN was the abbreviation for "Telekom". Since the middle of May 2008, DTAG has been calling the ISDN connection “T-Home Universal Connection”.

The ISDN connection is now being marketed by Telekom Deutschland GmbH under the brand name “Universal”. It costs 8 euros more than a non-ISDN connection, namely 26.95 euros per month.

The flexible ISDN connection with 6 working days' notice is sold under the name "Call Plus".

The technology used for ISDN connections is Euro-ISDN .

In the long term, Telekom wants to convert all ISDN connections to IP technology ( Next Generation Network ).

Apart from that, however, booking a new connection with ISDN technology is still possible and necessary for certain applications.
