T-Slam ( Hebrew תיסלם) is an Israeli rock band .

Band history

T-Slam originally began in 1978 with the collaboration between singer Danni Bassan, guitarist Izhar Ashdot and drummer Yair Nitzani. When guitarist Yoshi Sadeh joined in 1981, the first song was recorded with Tnu Li Rokenrol and the first album with Radio Hazak . In 1982 Sami Avzardel and Tsoof Philosof joined the band, and with Tislam2 the second album was recorded. After another year, after the release of the third album, LeAsfanim Bilvad , after an appearance on 23 October 1983 in Beersheba announced that the band would separate.

After the separation, all six members sought a solo career. The lead singer Danni Bassan released three solo albums. Tsoof Philosof became a studio musician and played in several bands. Yoshi Sadeh spent a few years in the US and Sammy Avzardel formed his own band. Yair Nitzani and Izhar Ashdot became music producers. In 1990 the band got together to do a comeback tour with Nagnu Achshav and two other new songs. Since then, T-Slam has made a few appearances, including in 1994 at the opening of the Hard Rock Cafe in Tel Aviv-Jaffa and another comeback tour that resulted from an isolated appearance in the Tel Aviv Barbi Club.
