TAFS is a rap group from the canton of Basel-Landschaft ( Switzerland ).
Career
It consists of the two MCs Taz and Aman as well as DJ Flink , hence the name TAFS (Taz Aman Flink Squad). The band has existed since 1997 when Taz and Aman met. The Track 8i Bahnhof was also released on the VIVA compilation Schwiizer Rap Garde put together by Jubaira . They rap in the dialect of the Basel area and expressly point out in their texts that they are not Basel residents. On the live album 44 Live! TAFS is accompanied by the reggae group The Scrucialists .
In addition to working together, the members are also active outside of the group, for example Aman and Taz released solo albums in 2006, DJ Flink previously recorded an album with soul singer Seven and moderates the weekly program Vo 7 bis Flink on Radio DRS Virus on Mondays .
