TFX (until January 2018 NT1 ) is a private French television broadcaster , a kind of full program .
history
The launch of NT1 was planned on the ABsat platform of the AB Groupe . At the end of 2004 the AB Groupe planned to name the station La Quatre (The Fourth). However, this did not happen because France Télévisions had announced that it would rename its Festival station to France 4 . This led to AB Groupe calling the station NT1 again.
In June 2009 the transmitter was bought by Groupe TF1 .
Reception in Germany
In Germany, NT1 can be received in encrypted form via the Hot Bird satellite at 13 ° East and via Astra at 19.2 ° East. In the border regions to France, NT1 can be received via DVB-T.
