TGS Rödelheim

The TGS Rödelheim was a table tennis club from Frankfurt-Rödelheim . The men's team played in the Bundesliga in the early 1970s . In 1973 the association was integrated into the FTG Frankfurt as a department .

As early as 1962, the men's team was promoted to the league , the top German division at the time. In the 1968/69 season she was champion in the Oberliga Südwest and rose to the Bundesliga. Here she stayed for four years and took eighth, seven, seven and sixth consecutively. In 1973/74 she appeared as FTG Frankfurt.

In 1969/70 and 1971/72 the team reached the semi-finals of the German Cup championships.
