TI-86

The TI-86 is a graphing calculator from Texas Instruments . It is the successor of the TI-85 .

A Zilog Z80 processor with a clock frequency of 6 MHz serves as the main processor. With 96 KB RAM, the device has more than three times as much memory as the TI-85 and has a serial link port with 9600 bit / s transfer rate . The monochrome LC display has a resolution of 128 × 64 pixels, respectively. 21 × 8 characters. The operating system allows programming in TI-Basic and assembly language .
