The type TNSW 1500 is a series of container motor ships from Thyssen Nordseewerke in Emden .

history

Between 1993 and 1996 the Emden Nordseewerke built nine ships of this type. The Hamburg shipping company Claus-Peter Offen received eight units, and one ship was delivered to the Norwegian Ivarans Rederi .

details

The ship type TNSW 1500 has four holds, three of which are in front of the deckhouse and one behind it. The loading gear in the front rooms consists of two 40-ton ship cranes, the rear hatch is equipped with a 36-ton ship crane. The ships are set up for the transport of dangerous cargo and have a maximum container space capacity of 1512 TEU. With a homogeneous load with 14 ton containers the capacity is 1118 TEU. There are 100 connections for refrigerated containers available.
