The TSV Eching is a sports club based in the Upper Bavarian town of Eching in the district of Freising . In addition to the successful football department, the club also has a winter sports department.
history
The club was founded in 1947 as a football club. After three decades at the district and district level, the club rose to the national league for the first time in 1981 . Two years later, he was promoted to the Bayern League . The relegation in the first season was followed by an immediate rise. But also the second year in the highest Bavarian amateur league ended on a relegation place. After relegation to the district league in the meantime, the third promotion to the Bayern league succeeded in 1990. This time the Bayern league lasted three years, 6th place in 1990/91 was the best placement in the club's history so far. After relegation in 1993, there were twelve years in the Landesliga Süd, before the team was relegated to the district league in 2005 and in 2007 even to the district league Upper Bavaria North. Here, however, managed directly Championship and resurgence, and in 2009 was enough for second place in the Bezirksoberliga Upper Bavaria to 2009/10 a season in the national league to play South. 17th place, however, meant the direct relegation. In 2010/11 the club returned to the national league as champions.
